In Her Own Words...

The center is a very fun place to be. I like coming everyday after school. What I like about the center most is the people and all the fun we have. We go on fun field trips like, Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and the Royals game. At the center we have an academic time, where we work on homework from school or educational things. We have yoga, which is very exciting and we watch our health. This youth center has a Worship service at least once a month (that we put together). During the summer we have a great program, we go swimming every Wednesday, we go on field trips and it’s really a lot of fun. Also, during the summer we go on big trip out of town. Last summer (2007) we went to Chicago, Illinois. I really enjoyed myself. We went to the Magnificent Mile mall. I bought a lot of things. The center took us to this great pizza place in Chicago named “Ginos.” They had deep dish pizza and it was FIRE. That’s how I am going to end this report; the center is a great place to be.
