Celebrating a Year of Success

On Friday, May 30th, the KCUYC staff, board and families had the special opportunity to unite for an evening of celebration: a celebration of fun, family, hope, and success. After sharing a good old fashioned cook-out, our KCUYC family came together to recognize some youth who have contributed in extraordinary ways over the past year. The first annual “Heart of the Center” awards were given out to these special individuals:

Morgan Foster-Greene - in recognition of the care that she has exhibited to her fellow students and staff

Felix Glover - for the courage he has shown in witnessing Christian love to his peers

Cecily Williams - for the enormous respect that she consistently shows to everyone

Congratulations to each of these young leaders! And special thanks to all our students, staff and volunteers for making the 2007-2008 school year so special!
