KCUYC Garden Market

  

The KCUYC would like to extend an invitation to you for our first ever Summer Garden Market. This past semester, as part of our ReThink! program, students had the opportunity to plant their very own garden. With the help of the KC Community Gardens, we have 7 plots of tasty vegetables. A variety of peppers and tomatoes, and fresh okra will be sold.


At first we will be selling our first batch of peppers. The Jalapenos, Bell, and Banana Peppers are HUGE and ready for you to come and taste. As the summer progresses we will also have tomatoes and okra for sale. The market will take place from 5pm-6pm every

  
Thursday in July at the Courtyard Apartments (2732 Troost). Please come out and support our students in their gardening project! The purpose of the market is to make fresh vegetables available and affordable to the community. Any proceeds that come from the market will go towards the sustainability of the garden.
