It's almost here!! Breakaway 2008!!! We hope that you have been making plans to join youth from across the metro for one of the most incredible youth events of the year. Once again this all night celebration will be a great time for your youth to invite their friends to this amazing event.
The night begins with an inspiring worship service featuring, Deth Im, from Jacob's Well church, as the keynote speaker! After the service we have two great locations with many exciting options for youth fun—at Power Play we will have unlimited bowling, laser tag, whirly ball, free arcade games, go-karts, bumper cars, mini-golf, an all you can eat buffet. We will also have the MidAmerica West Sports Complex at (20200 Johnson Dr) for games, basketball and volleyball ... all night!
Registration payment (and any late registrations you may have) will begin at 8:00 PM and will end at 9:00 PM in the Vanderpool lobby of Olathe College Church of the Nazarene (2020 E. Sheridan, Olathe, KS 66062). A pre worship service mixer with food and games will begin at 8:30 PM. A Youth Worker (youth pastor, teacher, program director) meeting will be at College Church in the Choir Room at 9:00—before the celebration service. You must attend this meeting!! It will be an important time for us to cover the details of the night.
This year's activities will again be hosted again by the Kansas City Urban Youth Center. Our goal is to raise over $10,000 to benefit youth in urban KC and the 2009 programs at Kansas City Urban Youth Center. - Super Early Registration is $25 by October 9th 5PM and $35 by November 6th at 5PM (and On-site registration on November 7th is $40). Go to www.kcurbanyouthcenter.org and click on Breakaway to register. Call 913-915-6121 with questions.
- Remember you will be responsible to pay for everyone you pre-register.
- Also remember that adult sponsors (1 to 8 ratios) will be admitted at no cost for this event. You will be responsible to pay for everyone you pre-register and any additional adult sponsors above the 1 to 8 ratio.
- Your organization, school or youth group will be responsible for transportation through the night.
- Please be prepared to pay with one check for your entire group.
$35 for regular registrations (November 6th at 5pm)!!
